“ (Only took me 2 months to get to this review and others, but I gotchu Brent!) Pizza head South Florida Native living in the PSL area and working in Stuart at the time (I literally just moved to the middle of nowhere in New Mexico, but shoutout to FLAWDA)...I randomly try the pie wherever I go, but I only ever bother reviewing it if it's exceptional or terrible enough to be memorable (check my other reviews kid, oh there's some pizza in there ) Stopped into Big Slice randomly one night during my wait time as a limo driver for a local company (gona leave them a 5 star also in a minute)...I saw their big bright and beautiful sign on the way to my clients drop off, and thought: "yea Ill hit that up" (even though I probably had Pizza like 5 dayz before...what can I say, at this point in my life a whole pie keeps for dayz...and in this economy ) ANYWAYs, I remember that it was either the divisional or conference round of the NFL playoffs, that the modest but well setup sitting / order area was very well lit, with fresh looking decour including a couple tables as well as a bar for a few high stools...and that it was busy, with lots of people picking up. I was immediately pleased by the attentiveness and focus of one of the young staff members (can't remember his name just now, but it was 3 people total including the owner), and was even more impressed and re-assured about 15 mins later, striking up conversation with the fast moving and visblibly focused chef-owner, Brent...I barely had my head from out from under the steaming hood of my fresh out the oven XL pie, throwing on a little cheese and pepper, when I heard him say "so how's that thing lookin' man?" (it was at that moment that in addition to looking amazing, that this pizza was guaranteed to be tasty) Brent was friendly and knowledgeable in giving me the low-down on how he came to be the new owner of the one and only Big Slice pizza in Palm City, and his mission to not only maintain but streamline and expand the reputation and original New York recipe, and while I didn’t get a chance to ask him where he was from...I’m pretty sure the accent is a dead giveaway. Thanks, and good luck to you and your team Brent! I’ll be sure to grab another pie or two when I pass through again. ”
“ I was looking for a new pizza place and found one in Palm City, FL. When I walked in, the place was spotless and the service was prompt and friendly!! Put my order in and it came out in a great time frame. When I tell you the 2 slices of pizza with Pepperoni, Mushrooms and Ham was soooooo dang BIG!!!!!! With a little Red pepper flakes, Oregano and Parmesan cheese....that was all she wrote!! I was so full, I was done for the day. And they also gave me 2 extra slices to take home for the family!! Come check them out..... ”
“ These guys make the best pizza in town! If you don’t believe me, try a Veggie Pizza with Sausage. It is absolutely delicious: the veggies are nicely cooked through (not raw!), lotsa cheese, and the bottom crust is crunchy, but not burned. This is pizza perfection as far as I am concerned! ”
